Our Team

Shelley has been with Smith-Dahlquist for almost 30 years starting out as a secretary in 1996.  In 1998 she become the office manager and in 2016 fulfilled her dream to become a business owner and becoming President. Shelley married her husband Johnnie in 1999 and together they have a beautiful daughter Katie who is currently living in Florida and working at a local HVAC business in the office. Shelley enjoys spending time with friends and family, fishing in MN, swimming, hiking and long bicycle trips along The Great Western Trail.

Johnnie has been with Smith-Dahlquist for 14yrs and was born and raised in Sycamore. He married his wife Shelley in 1999 and they have a beautiful daughter Katie who currently resides in Florida.  Johnnie has worked in the construction field since 1983 and is very mechanically inclined and in 2016 became Vice President of Smith-Dahlquist. In his spare time he enjoys dirt car racing, fishing in MN, hunting, hiking, ATV trips, supporting his favorite sports teams, the Bears and the Blackhawks, and spending time with friends and family.

Brad has been with Smith-Dahlquist for almost 30 years. He was born and raised in Sycamore and in 1999, he married his wife, Amy, and they have a wonderful daughter, Morgan. In his free time he enjoys cooking for his friends and family, and being outdoors hiking and vacationing. He is also very handy and enjoys building things around his house with Amy.

Jen is graduate of Kishwaukee Community College and brings her attention to detail to help keep us organized. Jen has a passion for horse training and spending time with her family.

Cliff has been apart of the Smith-Dahlquist team since 2015. He was born and raised in the DeKalb County area. He has been with his spouse, Crystal for over 20 years and they have three daughters– Cami and Dani, and Kady. Cliff is very mechanically inclined and enjoys spending time in his garage working on anything he can get his hands on. He also enjoys car shows and fishing with his family.

Steve has been with the Smith-Dahlquist team since 2017. He was born and raised in Elgin, but moved to the area with his wife, Erin, and their have two sons, Alexander and Donovan. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and participating in all types of sports and showing off his sports car.

Evan joined out team in 2019, having worked in the industry for 25years. Originally from Elgin, he and his wife, Melissa, live in Sycamore, raising his daughter Anelyse and their son Evan Royale. On his off time he enjoys watching his kids many sport activities, rooting for his favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, and spending time with his family.

Mick joined the team in 2020 and has been in the industry going on 38 years. During this time he has encountered all types of systems; from commercial rooftop units, to boilers, to residential equipment, he has seen it all! When he has free time, he enjoys catching up with his four daughters and doing what he loves: biking, cooking and having a good bonfire with friends.

Nick brings a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and installation within our HVAC industry and looks forward to learning more on the technical service side of things. Nick grew up in Pingree Grove, IL. and enjoys spending time outside of work fishing and hiking with his girlfriend and dog. They will also be welcoming a little boy fall of 2024

Connor joined our team in May of 2023 as an HVAC apprentice learning installation and service.
Born and raised in Kingston, IL. He enjoys spending time with friends and family along with cheering on his favorite NFL football team!
